Estudio epigráfico de la inscripción ibérica de la tinajilla de la Fundación Ballesta, ya conocida por un dibujo y dos falsificaciones

espanolEn este trabajo analizamos una tinajilla de ceramica pintada que se conserva en la Fundacion Ballesta que se corresponde con el dibujo que publicamos en 2013. Una vez inspeccionada, se confirma que el dibujo solo contiene un error en un signo que coincide con una fractura. Tambien cabe destacar que en el ultimo segmento de la inscripcion de la pared se detecta una correccion antigua que explica la extrana forma del segundo signo del dibujo. Tambien es especialmente significativo confirmar que la tinajilla, tal como reflejaba el dibujo, aparece la dualidad de la vibrante ŕ, caracteristica hasta hace poco no puesta en valor y que es tan sutil que, al hacer las dos falsificaciones, la omitieron. Asi pues, las caracteristicas de esta pieza refuerzan nuestra hipotesis inicial de que se trata de una pieza autentica, ya que es dificil aceptar que un falsificador, especialmente de los anos 80, fuera capaz de inventarse dos textos tan largos y complejos sin cometer ningun error. Ademas, defender su falsedad conlleva defender la existencia de dos equipos diferentes de falsificadores independientes, uno competente, que no habria vuelto a actuar, y el otro torpe, responsable de la mayor parte de las falsificaciones conocidas, circunstancia a nuestro juicio, absurda. EnglishIn this work we analyse a painted pottery vessel that is preserved in the Ballesta Foundation, and that corresponds to the drawing we published in 2013. Once inspected, it is confirmed that the drawing only contains an error in a sign that coincides with a fracture. It should also be noted that in the last segment of the inscription of the side, an old correction is detected, which explains the strange shape of the second sign of the drawing. It is also especially significant to confirm that, as the drawing reflects, the two inscriptions use the duality of the trill, ŕ. This feature was not put in value till recently, and it is so subtle that it was not taken into consideration in the two forgeries. Thus, the characteristics of this inscription reinforce our initial hypothesis that this is an authentic artefact, since it is difficult to accept that a forger, especially in the 80’s, was capable of inventing two long and complex texts without any mistake. In addition, defending its falsity would entail defending the existence of two different teams of independent forgers, one skilled, which would not have acted again, and the other clumsy, responsible for most of the known fakes, circumstance in our opinion, absurd.
