Bayes estimates and classification problem for chi-squared and Wishart's distributions
1995
Bayes estimators are proposed for the likelihood functions of random matrices having Wishart's distribution. These estimators are used to construct an asymptotically optimal classification rule. The classification problem in the case of the chi-squared distribution is also considered.
