A-phase vanadium dioxide nanowire-based temperature control switch and fabrication method thereof

2015
The invention discloses an A-phase vanadium dioxide nanowire-based temperature control switch and a fabrication method thereof. A temperature sensing material of the temperature control switch disclosed by the invention is an A-phase vanadium dioxide nanowire; and the width is greater than 220nm. The A-phase vanadium dioxide nanowire is adopted as a sensor fabrication material; and VO (A) is harmless to environment and can be greatly applied to an electronic device. With the nanowire as a structural unit, the size is small; miniaturization development of the electronic device is facilitated; and VO (A) phase transition is a breakdown process, so that the VO (A) nanowire-based temperature control switch is quick in response and beneficial to real-time monitoring. The phase transition temperature of the VO (A) nanowire is close to 435K; the blank of the temperature control switch with a relatively high temperature is filled up; the temperature control at a relatively high temperature is easily achieved by phase transition characteristics; a good foundation is laid for a terminal sensor for an internet of things; and the A-phase vanadium dioxide nanowire-based temperature control switch can be greatly utilized as the temperature control switch close to the temperature.
