Isopropyl naphthalene disproportionation process for the preparation of diisopropylnaphthalene

2014
The present invention relates to a process for the disproportionation reaction of diisopropylnaphthalene prepared diisopropylnaphthalene mainly solve high reaction temperature, rapid catalyst deactivation problems of the prior art. The catalyst used in the present invention is an organic silicalite, the organic silicalite composition involving the molar relationship: (1 / n) Al2O3: SiO2: (m / n) R, where n = 5 ~ 200, m = 0.01 ~ 100, R is at least one alkyl, alkenyl or alkyl phenyl group; the silicone zeolite Si29NMR solid NMR spectrum comprising at least a Si29 ~ Nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum peaks between -80 + 50ppm; the organic X- ray diffraction pattern of the silicalite are 11.34 ± 0.04,4.13 ± 0.04,3.96 ± 0.04,3.32 ± 0.04,3.02 ± 0.04 and 2.07 ± 0.04 angstroms d- spacing maxima, useful for the preparation of diisopropylnaphthalene industrial production.
