화장품 소재 개발을 위한 박하 물 추출물의 Rosmarinic acid 함량 분석 및 생리활성 평가

2020
The aim of the current study was to investigate the rosmarinic acid content and physiological activities of Mentha arvensis. The content of rosmarinic acid was 4.32±0.01 mg/g in the water extract of M. arvensis extracted for 3 hours at 100℃. Rosmarinic acid content increased as extraction temperature increased. The physiological activity of the water extract of M. arvensis extracted for 3 hours at 100°C was measured. IC50 concentrations for DPPH, ABTS radical scavenging activity and SOD activity were 581.66±28.90 μg/mL, 2,533.66±42.65 μg/mL and 1,119.60±35.15 μg/mL and antioxidant activity increased as the treatment concentration of the extract increased. At a treatment concentration of 10 mg/L of M. arvensis water extract, the cell viability was 84.68±2.97%, and NO production inhibitory activity was measured as 11.66±0.04 μg/mL, and the amount of NO production decreased as the treatment concentration increased. The α-glucosidase inhibitory activity (IC50) of M. arvensis extract was measured to be 171.20±25.23 μg/mL. The nutritional components were analyzed to be 350.23 kcal/100g of calories, 75.38% of carbohydrates, 9.23% of crude protein, 1.31% of crude fat, and 58.78 mg/g of total sugars. These results M. arvensis contains rosmarinic acid, and it is considered that it can be used as a natural cosmetic material because it has excellent physiological activity such as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity.
