Preclinical photoacoustic imaging using all-optical detection and time-reversal image reconstruction

3D photoacoustic images of the vasculature in mice were obtained in vivo using a photoacoustic scanner based on a Fabry Perot polymer film ultrasound sensor and an attenuation compensated acoustic time reversal image reconstruction method.
