One novel ridge waveguide power divider

Against the drawback of general power divider tee junction volume big of waveguide transfer,based on the influence of ridge waveguide and ladder impedance transfer exerted on transmission performance of electromagnetic wave in guided wave system,a novel ridge waveguide H-plane tee junction structure was raised.This structure was simulated and optimized by HFSS.Results show that the structure is matched in all X frequencies range.The one divided six ports ridge waveguide power divider was designed and fabricated with this H-plane tee junction structure,and a good result was received.The real size of the power divider is 46% smaller than general waveguide divider.The return loss is less than 20 dB and variation of single signal is inside ±0.35 dB.The structure is suitable for project application because of its simple structure.
