A plenty of experiments show that the melatonin can be used for remarkably alleviating smoking induced vascular inflammation reactions and protecting blood vessels in a smoking state, so that the melatonin has a curative effect on smoking induced vascular inflammation damage and further has a protective effect on smoking induced vascular inflammation damage. The melatonin is a medicine which is applied clinically, and the melatonin is convenient and safe in administration route, thereby providing a novel medicine for preventing smoking induced vascular damage.
