Active integrated antenna oscillator stability and phase noise reduction

Active microstrip patch antennas have been stabilised using cavity-backed and phase-locked-loop (PLL) controlled techniques. Experimental results show that phase noise reductions of up to 25 and 26 dB respectively can be realised.
