Epidemiological characteristics on hand-foot-mouth disease and the prophylactic effect in some area from 2008 to 2012

Objective To observe the prophylactic effect on the epidemiological characteristics of hand-foot-mouth disease. Methods This area had took a series of prophylaxis for hand-foot-mouth disease since 2010,the epidemiological characteristics before and after these prophylaxis were valued. Results Atter the series of prophylaxis,the cases and disease rates were decreased much obviously(P0.05),and the epidemiological characteristics were changed. Conclusion Epidemiological characteristics can be in favour of effluence control and diffusion control on hand-foot-mouth disease.
