ANALYSIS REGARDING THE IMPORTANCE OF GIS FOR LOCAL ADMINISTRATION PROCESS

In this material was carried out a study concerning the needs, the degree of implementation and the expectations that people have of a GIS. The study consisted of filling in questionnaires about the extent of introducing GIS in each municipalities. First was desired to find the degree of computerization of the city hall and if the employees know what is a GIS. Secondly was finding the utility of GIS in their daily work.
