To celebrate the 65 th anniversary of the end of the World War II the Institute of Oriental Studies has published the monograph «The USSR and the countries of the East during the Second World War» (V. Naumkin). Moscow, 2010). The authors analyze in detail the relationship of the USSR with China, Japan, Iran, Turkey and other Eastern countries in the period before and during the Second World War.
