Anisotropic flux pinning in YBa2Cu3O7-δ single crystals

The authors have investigated the magnetic properties of a Y-Ba-Cu-O single crystal using torque and susceptometry techniques. They show that the results are well interpreted by anisotropic flux pinning, which is found to be one order higher along the c direction than in the ab planes.
