Improved H∞ stabilization criterion for nonuniform sampling fuzzy systems

This paper investigates the problem of H1 stabilization for nonuniform sampling fuzzy systems. By using the Jensen’s integral inequality method and a reciprocally convex combination technique, an improved H1 stabilization criterion is formulated as linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Compared with the existing ones, the new H1 stabilization criterion contains less conservatism and less complexity. Since the variation ranges of membership functions within sampling intervals is taken into consideration, a nonlinear controller can be designed. An illustrative example is given to show the advantage of the proposed method.
