SUMMARY We reviewed the clinic and pathological characteristics In 10 Venezuelan patients with primary central nervous system lymphomas. Eight were females and two males, with ages between 6 and 76 years (median of 45.6). The frontal lobes and the cerebellum were the most frequent sites of presentation; with space occupying lesions in the tomographic and angiographic studies. Histologically, all the cases were diffuse non-Hodgkin lymphomas, with a predominance of the ones with the large cells. We analyzed the immunophenotypical and genotypic findings which allow its identification and differentiation.
