Optical profile reconstruction in a differential heterodyne microscope with additive statistical noise

The profile reconstruction algorithm for a rectangular groove is proposed. The algorithm involves superresolution processing of the response of a differential heterodyne microscope with additive noise. A quasi-optimal regularization is suggested for the derivation of a stable solution, and the smoothing function is determined.
