The invention discloses a method for processing cutting and rooting in tunnel matrix on a twig of a juglans hopeiensis Hu, and solves the problems that the grafting propagation method of the juglans hopeiensis Hu is slow, excellent characteristics of nuts cannot be well kept and clone requirement of walnut stock cannot be met. The method comprises the following concrete steps: 1) processing the twig tree of the juglans hopeiensis Hu; 2) processing the twig of the juglans hopeiensis Hu inside a tunnel; 3) cutting the processed twig of the juglans hopeiensis Hu; 4) managing the twig of the juglans hopeiensis Hu after cutting; and 5) transplanting and managing twig cutting seeding of the juglans hopeiensis Hu. According to the method, processing of the twig tree of the juglans hopeiensis Hu, cutting in the tunnel matrix and transplanting in nutrient-rich matrix are combined; an efficient cutting, rooting and seedling technique for the twig tree of the juglans hopeiensis Hu is provided; the cutting and rooting rate is up to more than 75%, and the transplanting survival rate is up to more than 70%. The technique has the characteristics of being short in seeding period, high in transplanting survival rate, and regular in sprout; the cost is saved; the hereditary capacity of the maternal juglans hopeiensis Hu is kept; excellent clone intermediate propagation and popularization of the juglans hopeiensis Hu are accelerated, and the method has a high promotion value.
