Cosa III : the buildings of the forum : colony, municipium, and village

This is an archaeological report on the forum of the Roman city of Cosa. This forum is the purest example of a republican forum and shows clearly the sequence of planning and building, from the comitium/curia complex and reservoirs, to the conversion of the basilica to a festival hall.
