Congenital dyserythropoietic anemia (CDA) with increased red cell lipids

Abstract Three members of a Filipino family with congenital dyserythropoietic anemia (CDA) were studied. They displayed an apparent new variant of CDA, characterized by the absence of serologic abnormalities and by vertical hereditary transmission. In addition, the proposita's red cells demonstrated lipid abnormalities not previously described in CDA.
