Presentación del Dossier: "A 70 años de la Convención para la Prevención y la Sanción del delito de Genocidio (CONUG): actualización del debate en torno al genocidio de los pueblos indígenas"

The 70th anniversary of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the crime of Genocide voted for unanimously in the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) on 9th of December, 1945 inspired the production of the current Dossier. A series of paper analyze different aspects regarding the concept of genocide, its applicability to the process of subjugation of the native population in Argentina at late 19th century and its long-term consequences during the following centuries.
