The invention relates to a base frame (1) for a household appliance (2), such as a washing machine, a tumble dryer or the like, comprising a housing on which the domestic appliance (2) can be fixed with its legs in the mounted state. According to the invention consists in this case the base frame (1) consists of two bridge-like formed, the household appliance (2) supporting elements (5) and (6), wherein each of the elements (5) and (6) fixed points (7) for fixing the feet of the domestic appliance (2) are provided.
