Iterative solution of the 3D full vectorial inverse source problem

2013
A flexible imaging algorithm is presented and analyzed which solves the full vectorial inverse source problem. The source currents are assumed to be frequency independent and the radiation is captured in a wide frequency band. The algorithm is based on an iterative solver. The number of iterations which is required to obtain a proper image depends on the measurement scenario. It is shown that stronger coupling between the co- and cross-polarized field probes results in a slower convergence.
