Thinning, of organic solvents and external emulsifiers free powder clearcoat slurry, process for their preparation and their use

1998
The invention relates to a pseudoplastic powdered lacquer slurry, free of organic solvents and external emulsifiers comprising solid and/or highly viscous particles which are dimensionally stable under storage and application conditions with an average particle size of 0.8 to 20 mu m and a maximum particle size of 30 mu m, whereby said particles contain at least one binding agent and at least one cross-linking agent. As cross-linking agent: (A) at least one cross-linking agent, by means of which soft segments may be introduced into the three-dimensional network of the lacquer, (B) at least one cross-linking agent, by means of which hard segments may be introduced into the three-dimensional network of the lacquer or alternatively (A/B) at least one cross-linking agent, by means of which both soft and hard segments may be introduced into the three-dimensional network is/are used. The invention further relates to the use thereof for the production of lacquers for painting in automobile production and repair, painting of furniture, windows, doors and constructions, both internally and externally and industrial painting, including coil coating, container coating and the coating or impregnating of electrical components.
