Solos e agroecologia para professores da educação básica: a experiência do Programa Novos Talentos UFV

Agroecology is movement, science and practice that seeks to establish a new/renovated relationshipbetween humans and the environment. The teaching of agroecology in basic educationis incomplete and disconnected, despite it shows great potential to approach the transversalityof environmental issues. In this perspective, the course “Soils and Agroecology: transversalityand socio-environmental approach in natural sciences” was conceived for teachers of basiceducation.of agroecology is unknown and little used in school environments. The course aimedto contribute to the dissemination of Agroecology among school communities and tostrengthen soil education in basic education. The present report presents the construction anddevelopment of the courses “Soils and Agroecology” for teachers of basic education carriedout in the years 2014 to 2016.
