The invention relates to a method for generating a current differential protection generalized node on the basis of the electric topology of a regional distribution network and belongs to the field of the automation and the relay protection of a power system. In the method, according to an input branch node associated data table which reflects the electric topology of the distribution network, a plurality of generalized node differential protection elements (also called differential protection objects) and standby differential protection elements are generated by circularly using a depth-first search method. According to the invention, the accurate positioning and rapid isolation of the system failure of the distribution network can be implemented, the power failure probability of a non-fault line is reduced, the power failure range is shortened, the rapid reconstruction and self-healing of the distribution network are implemented and the problem of influence of a distributed access system on the protection of the distribution network is also solved.
