Bioética, la disciplina de la indisciplina : un ensayo crítico acerca de la bioética

2020
Bioethics is a discipline embedded and configured through the Knowledge-Power relationships established in Modernity. As such, bioethics is part of the societies of normalization, discipline and normalization, such a procedure configures a specific subject: the disciplined subject. In the light of the Post-structuralist School, I review some of these Knowledge-Power relationships that configure the subject who "officially" makes bioethics, to find in the genealogical perspective a new way of interpretation and an epistemological, methodological and ontological option to which they can opt for people who study and do bioethics, in its institutionalized and therefore "official" form. To find that, in the option, an undisciplined subject is recreated and configured who can discern about himself and the discipline in which he works, with the purpose of interpreting and approaching the bioethical discipline, its objects and subjects of study from the angle of unfoundedness, genealogy, hermeneutics and critical reflection. In this sense, it is suggested that the practice of genealogical and archaeological research be adapted to the demands of the current moment in the formation and conformation of an autonomous subject that reflects on the Power relations that are configured in modernity, and that, can offer new alternatives in postmodernity; understanding this as the posthumous crisis of modernity, and, above all, regarding bioethics as a discipline that returns to modernity in its epistemological, ontological and methodological options when we place it in the coordinates of postmodernity. Thus, we can understand the emergence of indiscipline as that autonomous and critical configuration regarding the contents, practices and discourses of bioethics and the fields of knowledge with which it relates, to find a new angle in the inherent production of subjects and, of course, regarding the way in which we approach the objects of study and the subjects of understanding. Keywords: bioethics; discipline; indiscipline; genealogy; discursive-practice; subject; Knowledge-Power relationship; modernity; postmodernity.
