Ferrite-Based Microwave Oscillators

2021
Ferrite, or rather, gyromagnetic devices occupy an important place in modern microwave radio engineering systems as a passive element base (circulators, valves, waveguide switches, phase shifters, filters) and active components of various microwave devices, such as oscillators and various others: frequency multipliers, modulators, frequency synthesizers, etc. The growing requirements for improving the parameters and expanding the functionality of electronic systems stimulate the constant development of the electronic component base, including those based on gyromagnetic structures in active devices. The review report examines the properties and features of microwave oscillators with ferrite materials, as well as the current state of the domestic and foreign markets for such devices. Particular attention is paid to the features of the construction of devices based on ferromagnetic spherical resonators and film structures.
