The application of 6σ method for improving the quality in the car transmission

The product quality is the major focus of competition in vehicle manufacturers,Tangshan Aisin Gear Co.Ltd.has successfully implemented a project 6σ project in order to improve product quality and reduce claims.For abnormal sound and noise problem in Tangshan Aisin Gear 298K transmission,the 6σDMAIC model is established,and the quality of data is analyzed by using Minitab software.Finally,a set of specific improving programs have been put forward.Through research,the capacity of the process of vehicle transmission is increased and too much noise problem is improved and the customer satisfaction is improved in Tangshan Aisin Gear Co.Ltd..
