Study and Practices on Mine Shaft Water Inflow Value Predicted with Borehole Water Pressure Test

Due to the mine shaft water inflow quantity should be reduced before the mine shaft sinking operation conducted,in order to accurately inspect the grouting water sealing effect of the mineauxiliary shaft in Guqiao Mine,the water pressure test and the water pumping test were applied to obtain the permeability coefficient of the rock strata in the mine shaft and the pressurized and no pressure whole shaft big well method formula was applied to calculate the residual water inflow value individually after the mine shaft grouting completed.The test results showed that the mine shaft water inflow value estimated with the water pressure test was 3.690 m3/h and the water inflow value estimated with the water bumping test was 4.660 m3/h.The water inflow value of the mine shaft actual sinking was 3.708 m3/h.In comparison,there would be 0.018 m3 between the water inflow value estimated with the water pressure test and the actual water inflow value after the mine shaft sinking and the water bumping test results would be more close to the actual water inflow value.Therefore,the water inflow value of the mine shaft from the aquifer estimated with the water pressure test was reliable,the estimation technique would be simple,the construction period was short and the cost was low.
