Device for utilizing tail gas of internal combustion engine

2010
The utility model discloses a device for utilizing the tail gas of an internal combustion engine, which comprises a micropore muffler and an inner cylinder which are coaxially and sequentially arranged from the outside to the inside, wherein the inner wall of the cylindrical face of the micropore muffler and the outer wall of the inner cylinder are spaced by a certain distance, and both ends of the micropore muffler are respectively combined with the corresponding ends of the inner cylinder into a whole; and the inner cylinder is provided with a sealing end cover with a center shaft hole, the sealing end cover divides the inner cylinder into a gas inlet cavity and a tail cavity, a main body of a generator is arranged in the tail cavity, a rotating shaft of the generator penetrates through the shaft hole and extends to the gas inlet end of the gas inlet cavity, the end of the rotating shaft is provided with an impeller, and a plurality of gas inlet holes are arranged on the wall of the inner cylinder of the gas inlet cavity. As the further improvement of the utility model, active carbon is placed between the micropore muffler and the inner cylinder. Because the generator and the muffler are combined into a whole in the utility model, the impeller of the small-sized generator is pushed to rotate by utilizing the gas exhaust of the internal combustion engine, and electric energy is generated and then is stored or/and utilized.
