Distribution of Soil Organic Matter and Available Nutrient in Maize Zone of Jilin Province

With the development of balanced fertilization, the organic matter and available nutrient of 16 counties in Jilin province were analyzed in this paper based on field survey. The results indicated that the organic matter content in East Jilin were higher than in the West. The distribution of available Nitrogen was the same as organic matter. The content of available phosphorus in the whole area was moderate and its distribution was EastmiddleWest. The distribution of available Potassium was advert to available phosphorus. The proper proportion of N, P2O5, K2O by considering the distribution of soil nutrients, climate character in Jilin and the physiology of maize are as follows: east Jilin 2.5∶1∶1.5, middle 3∶1∶1.5 and west 2-3∶1∶1.
