Urgencias Gerontopsiquiátricas en un Hospital General

espanolPartiendo del incremento de la presion asistencial que recae sobre los Servicios de Urgencias Hospitalarios, se constata el aumento de la demanda asistencial protagonizada por los ancianos, y se analiza su repercusion en un Servicio de Urgencias Psiquiatricas. En base a una muestra de 40 pacientes con edad superior a los 60 anos, se valoran: Caracteristicas sociodemograticas (edad, sexo, estado civil, nivel cultural y socioeconomico); Motivos de consulta; y Estado psicopatologico del cuadro actual (con especial atencion a la presencia de patologia delirante y tematica de la misma). Con todo ello, se analiza la distribucion de las patologias mas frecuentes, asi como las peculiaridades que estas presentan en relacion a las especificas caracteristicas de la poblacion estudiada. EnglishStarting from the increment of the assistance presure that falls to the Hospitable Emergency service, it's checked the increase of the assistance demand whose subject was the oider and it's analysed rts repercussion in a Psychiatric Emergency Service. By virtue of a sample of 40 patients in age higher than 60 years oid are evaluated: Sociodemographic characteristics (age, sex, civil state, cultural level and socioeconomic one); Reasons of consurting; and Psicopathologyc study of the current disease (with the special attention to the presence of the delirius pathology and thematic of the same). With all of them, the distribution of the pathologics more frecuent is analysed like the peculiarities which these show in connection with the specific characteristics in the studied poblation.
