Jogos Populares como conteúdo de ensino nas aulas de Educação Física Escolar

This research theme brings the popular games noting that over the years it can be observed that recreational activities and popular are worked only on early childhood education, being left out of classes in other disciplines. The general objective of this work is to identify the main activities related to games and popular games suitable for the development of school physical education classes. In addition to emphasize the importance of the activities in physical education classes and develop dynamic lessons involving games and popular games that can develop psychic skills, emotional and motor skills of the students. The methodology used for the construction of this work was a literature review based on qualitative research, theoretical character. From all theoretical referential realized the importance of working with playful activity involving the popular games in school physical education classes comprising the same as motor and psychosocial development agent of the students. Therefore, it was concluded that these types of activities on the formation of student in physical education classes, further benefits that will contribute to the integral development of children, in the development of learning in the development of sociality and construction the identity.
