Bogie frame and side beam thereof

The invention discloses a side beam of a bogie frame. The side beam of the bogie frame comprises a side beam body and a buffering piece. The buffering piece comprises a first-level buffering piece and a second-level buffering piece. A cross beam installation base is arranged in the middle of one face, used for being matched with a cross beam, of the side beam body. A first-level installation base used for installation of the first-level buffering piece is arranged on one face, opposite to a supporting piece, of the side beam body. A second-level installation base used for installation of the second-level buffering piece is arranged on one face, opposite to a vehicle body, of the side beam body. The side beam body is made of a carbon fiber composite. The density of the carbon fiber composite is obviously smaller than that of a steel material, but the strength of the carbon fiber composite is 7-9 times as large as that of the steel material, so that the bogie frame made of the carbon fiber composite can not only meet the bearing requirement of the side beam but also greatly reduce the overall weight of a bogie, and the bogie frame can meet the requirement of high-speed railway vehicles. The invention further discloses the bogie frame with the side beam.
