Improvement of the diagnostics system ALÜS for identifying a break location in the primary coolant circuit of a VVER-440 reactor

A new algorithm for localizing a break in the primary coolant circuit of a VVER-440 reactor is proposed. It is intended for operation in the system ALUS of Siemens. The results from implementing the algorithm in the system for controlling a break (a copy of the system ALUS) installed in power-generating unit no. 2 at the Armenian nuclear power station are presented.
