The invention discloses a mobile terminal fast and precise positioning method using Wi-Fi. Firstly, Wi-Fi access points contained in each reference point position are sequenced according to magnitude of really simple syndication (RSS), and k Wi-Fi access points with the largest RSS are selected as feature access point (AP) sets of the reference points; then cluster division is carried out on a fingerprint information database according to the feature AP set of each reference point; when a mobile terminal is positioned, a scrambling technology is utilized to reconstruct the selected feature AP sets; and finally the reconstructed feature AP sets are used for searching corresponding cluster sets in a matching mode for precise positioning. The mobile terminal fast and precise positioning method can be combined with a traditional Wi-Fi positioning system and is easy to implement and low in cost. Through the method of constructing the feature AP sets, the fingerprint information database is subjected to cluster division, and therefore Wi-Fi positioning calculation amount can be notably lowered.
