Facile synthesis of sulfonyl amidines via carbon-nitrogen bond formation mediated by FeCl3.

A facile synthesis of sulfonyl amidines via carbon-nitrogen bond formation mediated by FeCl 3 was developed and an interesting major product of cyclic tertiary amine was observed, which showed the good selectivity of FeCl 3 -mediated activation of i cyclic α-C-H bonds of cyclic tertiary amines.
