Remarks on the WHO Classification of Tumours of the Central Nervous System

The ‘Histological Classification of Tumours of the Central Nervous System’ published by WHO has several remarkable shortcomings. Subdivision into chapters, e.g., does not follow a common principle. Closely related entities are separated from each other, and dissimilar entities are treated jointly.
