Mössbauer investigations of the cluster dynamics in (Au, Fe) above Tf

Abstract To investigate the dynamics of cluster glasses above their freezing temperature 57 Fe Mossbauer spectra of Au 0.95 Fe 0.05 were recorded in transmission geometry in applied fields up to 13.5 T for the temperature range 30 T T up to ∼7 T , the spectra were analyzed within a model of stochastically forming and decaying magnetic clusters. The results are compared with those of the cluster glass Y(Fe, Al) 2 .
