[Cytohormonal vaginal effects of methoxy-ethinylestradiol and lynestrenol therapy in artificial menstrual cycle]

1969
23 women without endogenous gonadal activity (4 cases of Turners syndrome 7 cases of gonadal dysgenesis 3 cases of hypogonadotropic eunuchoidism and 9 cases of premature ovarian failure) were examined and administered vaginal cytohormonal smears after the 1st part of sequential therapy (extrogen priming for 7 to 14 days) and after the 2nd part of Lyndiol 2.5 therapy for 7 to 14 days respectively. The effect of the estrogen increased during the 1st part of the therapy. As a rule progestagenic vaginal effect was more pronounced after 7 days of Lyndiol 2.5 and after 14 days and antiestrogenic effect was seen.(Authors modified)
