Pedaling in Chinese Piano Works

Clever and reasonable pedaling is necessary in interpreting a piano work.Chinese piano works are mostly adapted from ancient Chinese music or folk instrumental music,and based on national pentatonic scale,combining western techniques.Although the pedaling in Chinese piano works is different and worth discussing,this issue has been widely ignored.This paper takes several representative Chinese piano works and discusses their pedaling.
