Low dose deanxit combining pinaverium bromide for irritable bowel syndrome

Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of low dose deanxit(antianxiety-depression drug)combining pinaverium bromide for irritable bowel syndrome(IBS).Methods Sixty-eight cases of IBS were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,the patients in experimental group took deanxit one time daily in early morning and pinaverium bromide 50 mg three times daily orally,the patients in control group took nifedipine 10mg three times daily and oryzanolum 20mg three times daily orally,the courses of treatment were 8 weeks,the other kinds of drug were stopped in the treatment period,to observe and compare the therapeutic effect between the two groups.Results The overall effective rate in experimental group was 91.4%(in eighth week),the clinical therapeutic effect was significantly higher than the control group(48.5% in eighth week),P0.01.Conclusion Low dose deanxit(antianxiety-depression drug) combining pinaverium bromide has good therapeutic effect on IBS.
