Work Training Center of Automotive and Electrical Engineering is a non-formal education facility that accommoda1es and facilitates the activities associaJed with the process of learning the skills and expertness in the field of aulomulive and electrical engineering. The skills that are taught in ihe form of automotive engineering skills (motorcy_c/e and automobile gasoline I diesel) and e/eclric,11 engineering (electrical engineering electronics and refrigeration I air conditioning) by the time duration of training for 3 months (480 hours), is composed of 20 trainees and two instructors. The design approach is Fw1cliona/ism Architec/lJre theory that is embodied in the form of the building and adapted to space functions and its activities. By using Donal Duerk 's Architec111ral Programming design method which consists of facts, iss11es, values. goals, performance requirements and concepl. With the vocational training ce11ter of automotive and electrical engineering. it can resolve the problems of the city, namely the lack of vocational training places in the city of Palembang by using the Functionalism Architecture design theme.
