Light microscope and method for inspecting a microscopic sample with an optical microscope

The invention relates to a method and an optical microscope for examining microscopic sample with a light source, a scan mirror means for introducing illumination light from the light source toward a sample location and electronic control means which are adapted for adjusting the scanning mirror device to abzurastern a sample with illuminating light. The optical microscope according to the invention is characterized in that the beam path selection means between the light source and the scanning mirror means are provided. With the beam path selection means different beam paths are switchable successively activated acousto-optically or electro-optically, in the various beam paths of the illumination light at different angles can be guided to the scanning mirror means to illuminate different sample areas. The electronic control means are adapted abzurastern a sample with illumination light by the scanning mirror means and to activate during which the beam path selection means different beam paths successively.
