Immunomodulation by the new synthetic thiazole derivative tiprotimod. 3rd communication: influence on host resistance to microorganisms, tumors and on experimental immune disorders.

The study evaluates therapeutic and prophylactic potency of tiprotimod on experimental Candida albicans infection and metastases formation in the syngeneic B16 melanoma tumor system. This new drug was also tested for its effects on the immune system in autoimmune diseases and for its ability to influence the course and severity of experimental graft-vs-host diseases
