Déséquilibre isotopique entre eau et parties calcifiées de Charophytes actuels (Chara globularis) : résultats préliminaires

Oxygen and carbon isotope analysis were carried out on calcified parts (gyrogonite and thallus) of four Chara globularis (Charophytes) samples and on water samples collected during the 1990-1991 growth cycles in a small pond located near Lausanne (Switzerland). The preliminary results suggest that calcification of the gyrogonites does not occur in equilibrium with the water of the pond, but a detailed study is needed to specify the range of this disequilibrium
