A Method for Isolation and Purification of Specific Antibodies to a Protein Fused to the GST

The expression of foreign proteins in Escherichia coli using a GST-fusion system is established and gaining popularity as a method of choice for studying the function of particular proteins, to purify interacting factors, and to generate antibodies against fused proteins. However, there are several problems associated with this method.
