Chemiluminescence flow injection analysis of lead in water and human urine sample

2010
A selective and sensitive CL flow injection method for the determination of lead(Ⅱ) Is described in this paper. The analytical reagents involved in CL reaction, including luminol and potassium periodate, are both immobilized on an anion limit of detection of 30 pg.mL-1(3σ).At a flow rate of 2.0 mL.min-1,a complete determination of lead(Ⅱ),including sampling exchange column. The CL signal produced by the reaction between luminol and potassium periodate, which are eluted from the column through water injection,is enhanced in the presence of lead(Ⅱ).The increment of CL intensity is proportional to the concentration of lead(Ⅱ),giving a calibration graph over the concentration from 0.1 to 100.0 ng.mL-1(r2 = 0.9993) with the and washing, could be performed in 0.5 min with a relative standard deviation of less than 3.0%.The proposed procedure is applied successfully to the determination of lead(Ⅱ) in gasoline, water and human urine samples without any pre-treatment process. The proposed method offers reagentless procedures and remarkable stability for determining lead(Ⅱ),and could be reused over 80 h.
