Wireless network node and state update method thereof

The invention relates to the field of smart homes, and discloses a wireless network node and a state update method thereof. The state update method of the wireless network node comprises the steps that each node in a wireless network periodically send a state broadcast message with a preset cycle, wherein the state broadcast message at least carries the identification number of the node and the current state information of the node; the node receiving the state broadcast messages records the current state information of other nodes carried in the received state broadcast messages, wherein if each node in the wireless network receives the state broadcast messages of the other nodes when needing to send the state broadcast message, the recorded current state information of other nodes are carried in the sent state broadcast message. According to the state update method of the wireless network node, the nodes in the wireless network can periodically send the state broadcast messages and carry the received current state information of other nodes, and thereby the state of each device node in a smart home system can be automatically updated, and the user experience is enhanced.
