HİSTEREKTOMİNİN STEROİDOJENİK HORMONLAR OLAN ESTRADİOL, PROGESTERON VE TESTOSTERON DÜZEYLERİ ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ: DENEYSEL DİSİ RAT MODELİ

2009
Amac: Histerektominin steroidojenik hormonlar olan estradiol, progesteron ve testosteron duzeyleri uzerine etkilerinin deneysel disi rat modelinde incelenmesi. Gerec ve Yontem: Calismada Wistar Albino turu toplam 45 adet disi rat kullanildi. Calismaya dahil edilen ratlar randomize olarak calisma [histerektomi(n=30)] ve kontrol [sham (suni) operasyonu (n=15)] grubunu olusturmak uzere iki gruba ayrildi. Calisma grubundaki ratlara histerektomi, kontrol grubundaki ratlara sham (suni) operasyonu uygulandi. Her iki grupdaki ratlardan hormon parametrelerinin (estradiol, progesteron, testosteron)  belirlenmesi icin bazal, postoperatif 50. gun ve postoperatif 100. gunde kan ornekleri alindi. Sonuclar iki grup arasinda karsilastirildi. Bulgular: Hormon parametrelerinin (estradiol, progesteron, testosteron) zamana bagli degisimi bir butun olarak incelendiginde iki grup arasinda anlamli bir farklilik gostermedigi saptandi (p>0,05). Bazal, postoperatif 50. ve 100. gunlerdeki hormon parametreleri tek tek ele alindiginda postoperatif 50. gundeki estradiol duzeylerinin histerektomi grubunda kontrol grubuna gore anlamli bir sekilde dusuk (p=0,011), postoperatif 100. gundeki progesteron duzeylerinin ise histerektomi grubunda anlamli bir sekilde yuksek oldugu gozlendi (p=0,033). Sonuc: Histerektomi sonrasinda steroidojenik hormon duzeylerinin degisebilecegi goz onune alininca, histerektominin over fonksiyonlarini etkileyebilecegi akilda tutulmalidir. Materials and Methods: Forty-five female Wistar Albino rats were used in this study and randomly divided into two groups: the study [hysterectomy (n=30)] and the control [sham operation (n=15)] groups. Hysterectomy in the study group and sham operation in the control group were performed. In both groups, blood sampling was performed for basal, and postoperative 50th and 100th day evaluation of hormonal variables (estradiol, progesterone, testosterone). The results of the two groups were compared. Results: There was no difference in hormonal variables (estradiol, progesterone, testosterone) between the groups when the entire time interval was considered (p>0.05). When basal, and postoperative 50th and 100th day hormonal variables were evaluated separately, in the hysterectomy group, the estradiol level at postoperative day 50 was significantly lower (p=0.011), and the progesterone level at postoperative day 100 was significantly higher than the control group values (p=0.033). Conclusion: When the changes in the level of steroidogenic hormones following hysterectomy are taken into account, it should be kept in mind that hysterectomy may affect ovarian functions.
